Story Summary
Cain Riel, a monster hunter travelled to the monumental city of Cathington to investigate a dire situation. Yuri, the controversial count of Cathington mourned the death of his beloved cat for more than a decade. Madness drove him to undertake the unexplored path of science in hope of resurrecting his best friend. Blinded by rage and grief, Yuri performed unholy experiments in his laboratory, creating creatures of tremendous viciousness in the process. Rumours about God having forsaken the people of Cathington began to spread around and the city was plunged into a turmoil. The Holy Sect had been exiled after a failed coup from the Dark Cult at assassinating the archbishop. Cathington was overrun by monsters and quickly became a dystopia for the citizens of a beautiful city gone wrong. It was up to Cain to bring back order.
